We’re hiring a UI/UX Design Engineer Intern at Vicino AI.

Location: Remote (US) / Onsite (Seattle)

Commitment: Full-time or Part-time (25–40 hrs/week)

Duration: 3 months, extendable

Support: School credit and CPT/OPT supported

Vicino AI is building an AI-native creative platform for multimedia generation and editing. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both designing polished user experiences and bringing them to life on the front end.

This role is a great fit for someone who is excited by the intersection of UI/UX, product thinking, and front-end engineering, and wants hands-on experience working closely with an early-stage startup team.

What you’ll do

Design intuitive product experiences across key workflows and feature pages

• Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes in Figma
• Turn product ideas and user needs into clear, elegant interface designs
• Build and refine front-end UI with modern web technologies
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to test and improve new ideas quickly
• Help shape the visual language and interaction patterns of the platform

What we’re looking for

Strong visual design sense: layout, typography, hierarchy, and product aesthetics

• Proficiency in Figma
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Next.js
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, interaction design, and user flows
• Someone who can think like both a designer and a builder
• Interest in creative tools, product design, and AI-native experiences

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, creative tools, or editing/workflow products
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based front-end development
• Motion, micro-interactions, or front-end animation experience
• A portfolio showing both visual taste and product thinking
