Position Title: UI/UX & Graphic DesignerReports To: Creative DirectorPosition SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned UI/UX‑focused Designer who also excels at graphic design execution across print and digital channels. This hybrid role is ideal for a creative problem‑solver who can lead user‑centered digital design initiatives—while also supporting ongoing graphic design needs for client campaigns, marketing materials, and brand assets.
In this role, you will translate business goals, client requirements, and user needs into intuitive, visually compelling experiences. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle—from UX research, wireframing, and prototyping, to high‑fidelity UI design and hands‑on graphic production. This position operates in a fast‑paced, collaborative agency environment and requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesUI/UX Design (Primary Focus)- Lead the creation of user‑centered digital designs by understanding business objectives, client goals, and user feedback.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and high‑fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate functionality and design intent to the Web team.
- Design intuitive UI elements including navigation systems, input controls, and informational components.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., responsiveness, usability challenges, accessibility concerns).
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across digital projects.
- Incorporate customer feedback, usability findings, and performance insights into iterative design improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Web, Account, and Creative teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Graphic Design (Ongoing Responsibilities)- Design and produce creative assets such as logos, brochures, ads, presentation materials, business cards, and other marketing collateral.
- Support integrated campaigns by applying strong visual design across print, digital, and web assets.
- Assist with cataloging and updating creative for website refreshes and client initiatives.
- Apply brand standards consistently while adapting designs to meet unique client needs.
- Research competitive landscapes and design trends relevant to client industries.
Operational & Team Responsibilities- Interpret Creative Director, Account Manager, and client concepts into polished, compelling design solutions.
- Ensure all design work follows established production processes and quality standards.
- Track time accurately by project using company standards.
- Maintain organized digital files and server documentation.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, team‑based environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Accountability & Performance Expectations- Produce high‑quality creative work efficiently and on deadline.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to minimize rework and repeated instruction.
- Support timely project execution to maintain client satisfaction, repeat business, and agency integrity.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications & SkillsRequired- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with demonstrated graphic design capability.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital product design as well as graphic/marketing design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with prototyping tools and design documentation.
- Solid understanding of the full design lifecycle, from concept and research through execution and handoff.
- Excellent visual design skills, attention to detail, and aesthetics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agency environment.
Preferred / Bonus- Degree or diploma in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- WordPress experience.
- Understanding of print production processes.
- Comfort working across Mac environments.
