WHO WE ARE:Sasco Contractors Ltd, serves the industrial, commercial, and institutional markets all over BC, specializing in distribution upgrades, commercial one-off new builds, tenant improvements, server rooms and data communication in "mission critical environments", complicated fire alarm upgrades, EV car chargers, and electrical service and maintenance.

Materials being delivered to the job sites on time are a crucial aspect of the success of this role. Youll ensure delivery of materials, equipment, tools and supplies to job sites using the Sasco flat deck truck with power tailgate, as well as assisting the Warehouse Manager in the daily managing of warehouse activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work shall include but not necessarily be bound by the following:
- Delivery of materials, equipment, tools and supplies to job sites, to/from suppliers.
- Pickup of recycling and waste from job sites and take to recycler/dump.
- Pack and load materials onto trucks according to companys specifications.
- Maintain records for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information and timecards.
- Maintain all areas clear for people to safely walk through the warehouse.
- Receive material delivered to the warehouse and email receival confirmation.
- Keep the parking lot clean for vehicles to park and drive into the warehouse.
- Order materials (vacation relief).
- Monthly vehicle and forklift inspections.
- Sign tools in and out of the warehouse to jobs and place in storage.
- Keep warehouse tidy, sweep, empty garbage & recycle.
- Performs other functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose or providing warehousing operations, as needed.
WHAT YOULL BRING:- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 1-years of relevant experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with a clean driving record for the last 12 months (Driver's abstract required).
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
- Good organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Familiar with the lower mainland; downtown Vancouver to Chilliwack.
- Experience working with Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Forklift license (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with fellow employees, suppliers and customers.
- Ability to manage time pressure, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to followup, tasktracking, and documentation skills.
- Usual working hours will be 7AM to 3PM. Flexibility would be required to adjust daily work hours to meet the needs of job sites, including weekends.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual loading/unloading, lifting and maneuvering of heavy packages of 25-50 lbs.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment will be an asset.
